Aranwa Hotels Resorts & Spas Celebrates Its Tenth Anniversary

Lima, October 2018. At a packed event, the Aranwa hotel chain celebrated its tenth anniversary. The commemorative cocktail party was attended by hundreds of guests, including tourism sector authorities, corporate partners, travel agents, tour operators, and more.

During the ceremony, the hotel chain’s general manager, Pierre Berthier, noted that the organization’s prestige and efficient, high-quality service had earned it numerous national and international awards. Most recently, the Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel was recognized as the leading luxury hotel in South America at the World Travel Awards 2018, which made particular note of the hotel’s quality and innovation in the services it offers.

With ten years in the business and over 388,000 guests, our team has proven its efficiency and effectiveness in providing unique and unforgettable experiences as part of our untiring effort to satisfy our customers, while highlighting the beauty of Peru’s natural landscapes and its cultural history,” Berthier stated.

He went on to add that the chain was founded in 2008 with the opening of its first hotel, Aranwa Sacred Valley Hotel & Wellness, located in Urubamba, Cusco. This location was followed by Vichayito Bungalows & Carpas in Vichayito, Piura; Aranwa Cusco Boutique Hotel, right in the heart of the “imperial city” of Cusco; and three years later, Aranwa Paracas Resort & Spa and Aranwa Pueblito Encantado in the Colca Valley in Arequipa.
